NIM Mission Statement &

Operational Policies

NIM Mission Statement -

Nigeria Ijaw Mission (NIM) is a mission ministry of Faith Christian Church (FCC), under the leadership of Nick Champlin (Sr. Pastor/FCC), and dedicated to assisting the efforts of High Impact Christian Center (HICC), under Rev. Wilson Okotie, in the establishing of churches among the Ijaw, in the Niger River Delta.

The resources of NIM are dedicated first to assisting HICC in the planting of churches and training of indigenous Ijaw missionary pastors, for those church plants.

Secondly, NIM is committed to assisting in the establishment of community development projects, as HICC may undertake from time to time.  Our abilities to assist in such endeavors are limited to the extent that God may make resources available to us for such works.

Assisting Ijaw Villages Where We Are Ministering -

NIM and its team members are not at liberty to give directly to needs within the villages where we are ministering.  All of our assistance is planned out with HICC and contributed through HICC to the various projects we have agreed upon.  General Overseer, Rev. Wilson Okotie is in control of all direct financial activities, during NIM-HICC visits to IjawLand.

Request For Money By Nigerian Ministries, Churches and Individuals -

Because of our specific mission focus, NIM is not available to fund or sponsor other ministries or individuals in or outside of Nigeria.  We operate in an exclusive relationship with HICC.  100% of our resources are dedicated to the church-planting work of HICC in the Niger Delta, and come under the operational authority of the joint NIM-HICC alliance.  As such, we are not at liberty to respond to requests for money or support of any kind.

Approaching NIM Team Members For Money Or Gifts -

As a pre-condition to participation in any NIM-HICC trips into Nigeria and IjawLand, every one of our personnel have been placed under a commitment to the ministry, which restricts them from offering any money or support to any individual, church or pastor, who may approach them, either during a visit to Nigeria or by email or phone.  If asked to assist with money or gifts of any kind, please know that all NIM team members are prohibited from responding.  NIM team members must raise their own funds to take these missions trips, and the financial commitment is substantial.  We are aware that the needs are great, and as good stewards of the limited finances and resources that God has given for our mission, we must concentrate 100% of them on the work of the ministry.

Request For Assistance With immigration Or Travel To The United States, By Nigerian Ministries, Churches and Individuals -

NIM team members are not able to sponsor any Nigerians to visit the United States.  Such an undertaking is very difficult, and way beyond the scope of our abilities.  Therefore, please refrain from contacting NIM or any team members for travel to the U.S.

Please pray for us at NIM that the Lord will continue to enable us to fulfill our mission in support of HICC and outreach to the Ijaws of the Niger Delta.
